More on Laura

Well I think the antibiotics are starting to show some results, Laura is feeling a little better.  Also got her some probiotics which she started today and will help out as well. Thanks for everyones continued prayers.

On another note my daughter Amanda bumped her head and last night it decided to swell and her eyes also were swollen.  She went to the doc and he said that she had some sub-cuteanous bleeding that is causing the swelling and discomfort, they were unable to do an MRI because she is pregnant.  All they can do is keep an eye on her and make sure she heals up ok.  So please be praying for her as well.

My thoughts concerning all of this:

When I took Laura to the hospital last Thursday, I heard the Holy Spirit tell me that the enemy is trying to steal our joy.  I started praying that our joy be protected and restored. Nehemiah 8 says ” Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”.  This morning Laura said that she keeps feeling like someone has cursed us and she wasn’t sure if it was tied to our trip or not, and she felt that I needed to pray against any curse that may have come against our family. So I did.  When she mentioned the curse and Cabo I remembered our time in Todos Santos and our minstry time with Dick and Marge.  Also I was given a word for them and Todos Santos the next morning which I emailed to them when we got home.  I didn’t get a reply back until this morning, 2 days after we were with Dick and Marge he had a gallstone that was blocking his pancreas which can be life threatening.  He had surgery and is doing well now, Marge said that the word the Lord gave them while we were with them, sustained them through the attack.  We serve an awesome God that loves us and protects us.  He is faithful to give us what we need to get through whatever we are in.
