The Well on Whidbey (or Church done Simply)

We have been called to be different, to shine our Light in a world that is tired of the status quo... We are not to be conformed to world, instead we are to be conformed to the likeness of Christ so that the world can be reached. We are called to bring life not condemnation in John 4:14 Jesus says "but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Different…. you know

So one thing that has been consistent since we started meeting Friday nights is that there is almost always a consistent thread or theme, and each week it changes. For almost everyone that recieved prayer and asked for something specifically, they all already knew the answer.  In a couple of instances when we prayed the word that came was “you know”.  Sometimes I think we hear answers and because of our insecurity or because we second guess the fact that we hear clearly from the Father, we continue to ask the same questions…. it goes beyond just fleecing and becomes a matter of trust.

The young man whose eye was healed last week wasn’t able to make it but we are hoping to see him next week.  God is working on him and his family, please keep praying.

We also had new visitor last night named David.  It was awesome having him there he liked asking the hard questions that make you really look at how well you know what you know aobut your walk and what you believe.  Thanks David and welcome.
